The Sony FE 100-400 mm f/5.6-8 OSS Telephoto Zoom Lens is best for wildlife photographers, sports fans and travellers. Its long zoom range helps you capture distant action in detail, and the lightweight build makes it easier to carry.

Bring distant subjects into view. The 100-400 mm focal range helps you capture wildlife, sport and far-off details without getting closer. Zoom right in and fill the frame with subjects that would otherwise be out of reach.

Travel light. At just 654 g, the FE 100-400 mm f/5.6-8 OSS is lighter than many super-telephoto lenses. It's easier to carry on walks, day trips and longer shooting sessions.

Sharp across the frame. ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass and aspherical lens elements help reduce colour fringing and distortion. Images stay clear and detailed throughout the zoom range.

Keep up with the action. Dual linear motors power fast, precise autofocus, helping the lens keep up with birds, motorsport and other moving subjects.

Steadier handheld shooting. Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation helps reduce blur caused by camera shake. That's especially useful when shooting at longer zoom lengths without a tripod.

Discover the smaller details. With up to 0.41x magnification and a minimum focus distance of 0.86 m, the lens can focus close enough for detailed shots of flowers, insects and more.

Built for outdoor adventures. The dust and moisture resistant design helps keep you shooting in changing conditions, from misty mornings to dusty tracks and trails.
